juzz some thots...
was reading kaihong's blog just now.. n he said that he n ngeepoo have been thinking about hc's chances at our own nats after the polo match. n i got reminded of what tzuyu told us after trng today..
"train hard, cuz the feeling sucks."
honestly, i'm quite affected. remember what yz's class guys said about the girls team? how we sound so lan4 next to the guys.. and everyone is almost convinced that we'll not do well. yange was telling me today of how HC is fading slowly from the limelight already.. n it's damn sad. but somehow, as much as everything is stacked against us, there's still a very faithful part of me that believes somehow, this year, we're going to make a difference.
that, we will still make it and make hx proud of us. none of it is going to be easy. especially with our studies being the biggest impediment. felt it full-faced that day when I was torn between the PSC talk and training. but like jiayan told me, all the more, we have no excuses to screw up anything.
i know blocks havent exactly been a good thing for many of us, but i think we will still fare fine in the end. just more mugging n more concentration placed on the grades, we will be okay. maybe it's time, we started learning how to manage both together properly. it's no longer just mindless paddling anymore..
but looking at nats, personally, it just makes me want to go all my way out there to fight for the best, with the rest of you guys.. SDBA taught me a great deal - lessons of failure, focus, distraction and undying faith. and if not for u guys being there for me, I'd never have realised so many things about myself and the team.
trng can get sian.. seeing how often we train. but I think it's impt we don't lose faith and focus. step by step, we can still improve one.. don't give in, I don't care what others say about us, whether we make it or not. What's important is we keep going and pushing each other along all the way, till July and even further than that. You guys make up most of my hwachong life and boy, am I glad or what? (:
